Default Intake manifold, valve covers

Finally got around to installing my intake manifolds and valve covers.
I think I might paint the needswings intake tubes gloss black for a bolder appearance.

That's a sexy looking engine. I'd leave the tubes alone if it were mine.

Your engine compartment looks great. I would also suggest leaving the DCAI tubes as they are. I like the black hose clamps on the DCAI system. Where did you find those? What do you use to keep the aluminum on the supercharger looking so good? Everytime I open my hood the aluminum is all oxidized again (white powdery corrosion is back). Also I see you have the stainless steel valve cover bolts? Did you get those from Rob at Needswings? You should probably go for the stainless steel intake manifold bolt set too as those stock screws will rust. I see you installed the oil catch can too. Nice job on everything! . . .

PS I see you're missing one of the black plastic caps that cover the windshield wiper nuts. How about sending me the one you have so both of your wipers will look the same and both of my wipers will look the same . . . LOL

Thanks for the positivite replies.
Yes I got the valve cover bolts, valve cover gaskets, intake manifold gaskets form needswings.
He is very easy to deal with.
The clamps on the intake tubes to make them black. Scuff them with a red scotch bright pad, clean with solvent and painted with Krylon satin black. The trick to not scratching them all up putting them on is to bake them. I use an old toaster.
Works great for bolts too that you don't want to bother having plated.
I did polish the intake bolts, I will have to see how they hold up.
The SC I put some wd40 on it to help keep it from oxidizing.
This is my daily driver.
I bought the valve cover and intake cores from Red dog so I could refinish them and not have any down time when I put them on.
Thanks red dog.
I have my sets as cores now. If anyone is interested in doing the same.
You could buy them as is or I could refinish them too.

I notice that you guys didn't pick up on the meth injection or nitrous.
I guess I did a good job hiding it..

Running both should help cool things down. How large of a N2O shot have you tested or run so far?

No I am not kidding.
I bought the car from mrphotoman.
It was already on there. I rewired and rerouted stuff to suit my taste.
Everything worked the way he had it. I like stuff neater that's all.
Plus I removed the bottle he put in for the meth and ran it off the factory bottle.

That looks fantastic! In agree that they intake pipes look good as-is. And nope, I can't see anything added on there... One of the cleanest engine bays I've seen. Thanks for the tip on the hose clamps, might have to try that myself on the DCAI 'm installing!

@ grip grip.
I have not been to the track with it yet.
Mrphotoman was able to pull off an 11.86 without the nos.
it's a small shot 35hp. It is more for cooling purposes than for raw power.
I have noticed with the meth and nos the boost gauge reads higher.
I build muscle cars for a living. The srt is a different kind of fast.
Even though it is only a 35 kit you can feel it when you hit it.
I am contributing the felt effect to the nos obviously but the cooling effect that keeps the timing from being pulled with the extra boost.

easy way to make the intake tubes pop is to paint the needswings red to match the v/c

Meth pass side intake tube and nitrous on driver side.
Both about 3 inches before the y-pipe.
Meth sprays at 10 psi boost and nitrous is hooked to a momentary switch.
