Default Had to Replace the Auxiliary Water Pump today...

I recently went with a Supercharger pulley from Eurocharged and tuned all my mods together and everything was just so N'Sync. After a week I started noticing loss of power, strange acceleration whistle, etc. I posted about this on a thread not too long ago, but finally was able to take it in today to get it looked at.

Right off the bat the IAT's were up in the 180-190 range. Red flag. From what my mechanic said it should not be above 120 or the Supercharger will completely cut off. So that explains my power loss.

We took off the bumper to examine my Johnson IC pump and Water Pump and noticed my coolant level was low. Looked at both pumps and noticed the water pump was leaking baaaaad. Which explains why not enough cool air was getting through. Ended up replacing the water pump with a aftermarket one and hardwiring my IC pump to my ignition so everytime I turn the car on it engages it instead of waiting on the computer.

Took for a test drive the car runs better then ever. The car is just ridiculous fast.

If your experiencing slow acceleration issues check your pumps. The stupid dealer wanted to replace my acceleration pedal sensor and never looked at my pumps.

Also on a side note I got the dreaded CPS code, so I replaced that with a flash.

which pulley the 65mm or the 61mm?

I'm suspecting the 61.....I think you need some cooling system mods for this baby - or keep her under 5000rpm...ouch!
the 61 should generate about 212F ex the SC on a 68F day.....smoke'n!
Having said that, the 65mm would do 200F.
Stock is 175F

SC water pump might have been on its way out anyway.

Motors are expensive...tinkering is fun...and dangerous....research....

Bob, it was a 65! The reason I went with the 65 because Jerry told me I didnt need to update my cooling. I suspect the pump was on its way out. The seals were terrible. Leaking all over.

I had a 185 and a super cooler, but decided against it and went with the 65mm.

the supercooler whould have the potential to drop your AIT's 25F (20,000Btus)...nice margin and more density (+5%)
