I had mine remote tuned last July. So when you say we get the software as well, how is that handled? Do you email / send it to us??

 

I just bought a 05 SRT Roadster and have no feel for the last time the car was tuned. It is stock and since I have never driven one I have no idea what is right or wrong. I plan on tuning it but it would be good to start from a good baseline. I have been looking at OBD software so I could diagnosis it myself but this sounds like a better solution. So if I understand correctly they will do a remove tune of the car and you will have some type of OBD software that you can use to diagnosis problems. If this is correct I'm in!

 

Basically you are correct. They now will be offer software that lets you monitor and log what is going on. They will provide a tune flash file that you can initiate at will. "I'm guessing" this software will back up your original settings before flashing new (per the change back at the track statement), and you can return to original if you desire. Some parameters of the tune will be adjustable by the user. I'll update the list with you .. follow those links earlier in the thread to the MB forum for more details.

I have the srt6 tune with DCAI and SC pulley tune. This is a great investment.

 

Wow - I need to get to this board more often. This is a cool new development and the price has really come down since I last looked at tunes! I'm in!

So tempted.... Is this a plug and go tune? Or is there other stuff required and is it a noticeable difference?

other stuff : NO
noticeable difference : You bet your sweet bippy

 

If an intake and 74mm throttle body is good for 10HP (a noticeable difference) and this adds 24HP.. YEAH BUDDY!
