Default LED Fog Lights?

Has anyone (Woody, et al) tried the LED 9006 bulbs for the factory fog lights?

I've looked at a couple of different ones on ebay and elsewhere, but didn't want to be the first one to bite if someone else had already gone down that road.

My fear is, since the factory light has a Fresnel (pronounced fruh-NELL, yeah Woody, I watched your video ) lens, would an LED become too diffused?

I was eye balling those a few months back. The vendor I got my tag led's from had them. Sent an inquiry those vrs stock bulbs.. estimated at half the output of oem.
That was all I needed to know..

Thanks for the info. Do either of y'all recall if they were the CREE style LEDs? Were the white or amber? Would clear lenses made any difference?

I should probably quit beating this dead horse...
