Default engine problem

Hello everybody. I am a new member here and I am having some problems with the engine in my SRT6. The check engine light is on. The engine will start just fine when cold. Idles smooth with no apparent problems. Put it in gear while holding the brake and raise the RPM's and everything seems fine. Start driving and then with no warning the engine goes dead. sometimes it starts right back up but other times it takes about 5-10 minutes and several restart attempts before the engine finally fires up. 100,000 miles on this engine. Mostly all interstate. Can anyone help me find a place to start a diagnosis?

Thanks guys, Bubba

Check the code, why guess if the problem is going to be spelled out for you when you read what the code problem is.

Did you run it for codes? If so, what does the code say?
