Default SRT-6 Coupe Value (in parts)

Can anyone throw some values/prices at me as it applies to parts/assemblies? My plan is to part out the car since I expect to get more for it than as a whole. I'm not concerned about labor since me and my son-in-law are both able techs.

Also, do you think I can better $11k total?

Thanks in advance.

I doubt you'll ever get over 5K for it in parts, as there is just no market for the big ticket items (engine and transmission). You'd be better off selling it for 10 or 11K and calling it a day.

Yeah, these cars are pretty reliable overall so very little demand for the various electronics components etc. Other than wear items and collision repair there's hardly a need. Right now anyway.

I tried $10k and there wasn't any interest.

It's worth it, but you have to take your time to get it. Why not take a few dozen high resolution photos as well as spring for a Carfax. Post all that on ebay with a 30-day set price listing at $13,500 or best offer? Then it's on ebay longer, and will generate more hits. Just think of it as Marketing 101.

Thanks Anthony.

I've been trying to sell since January. It's been on ebay numerous times with lots of photos, plus auto trader, craigslist and cars.com.

Now I'm reminded why people just trade in and take the loss that way. My mistake was that I recently paid cash for another car thinking I'll just sell the Crossfire afterwards...
