Default About to buy this beauty

Hey guys !

I am about to buy this beauty and just before writing the check I want to ask you what do you think about ?

Used 2005 Chrysler Crossfire SRT-6 for sale in milwaukie, OR | Used Cars In Portland OR | Used Car Dealership Portland OR | Jordan Motorz

Am I doing the good choice ? Or maybe I am getting too excited and I miss something wrong

Thanks

Looks like a fair deal for a clean SRT, assuming the VIN is good. I didn't look into that.

Well you cant tell a lot from pictures.. but it looks to be a pretty clean straight one.. Just a note.. there is a black SRT6 roadster on the board that is hanging around 15K with under 20,000 on the clock.. but distance might be an issue.

If you change your mind.. I found 3 N/A 's on a lot today.. all 3 had been bumped on the front end.. one aero blue with NOS.. and missing the fender well liner..with a cracked windshield.. another was a Graphite roadster.. with the glass laying on the rear deck.. and 3rd was a black coupe.. with the drivers headlight set back about a 1/2" from normal.. as I was proudly told.."14.5K..take your pick!".. LOL.. Just let me know and I'm sure he can hold one for you..

Have to agree.. was a little concerned on battery replaced and tires replaced.. but sitting can take out the battery.. and no repeated issues on the tires.. I wouldn't be scared off at all..

And yeah informed him we had two crossfires and paid 10k for the wifes roadster with vanilla interior.. He didn't even have a clue on the available warranty for "select states"..Has a guy coming to fix the window on the roadster with "Chrysler original sealant".. LOL..

Looks like they dipped the stock wheels in black. But, they are the original wheels. There is an aftermarket grille like I used to have. I don't see any other mods other than a radio. Mileage for 2 previous owners is low..so car looks to be a toy more than a daily driver....so it looks to be a good buy.

"personal taste" thing.. stereo upgrade is a good thing in my books though.. Plasti dip can be peeled off for original look if you like too.

Sorry guys I forgot one question

For a daily use, what about the rear visibility. Is that really annoying for parking etc.. ?

Well, the SRT has the rear fixed wing, so it gives you some help there. All sports coupes seems have rear vision problems. That has never stopped me from buying a sports car.

Simple answer is yes. I use the side mirrors to their best advantage and park by driving in and try to eliminate reversing as much as I can. Being an old fart I cannot turn my head too much. At a Crossfire GTG you can pick out my car, its the one facing the opposite direction to all the others in the car park. They reverse in, I reverse out into a big space.

To me the radio is a Good Thing. Appears to be a Kenwood Excelon KDC-X695 which adds a hands-free telephone via Bluetooth plus aux and USB inputs. I just spent about $200 for a Clarion M303 to do the same thing. Might ask if they have the original radio. Do like the way the radio is recessed into the dash.

Other than that you should make the usual checks for rust but looks like it has only been in Oregon since 2011.

ps I have no trouble with rear visibility, my Jeep is much worse but have a camera.
