Traction
I put my 285 Goodyear F1's Supercar tires on the SRT6 tonight, then did a trophy run up the freeway on ramp. They are a major improvement over the Conti 255's. These things really dig in.

I'm glad to hear that they last over a year lol.
I put a pair of Goodyear F1's on for my second set 285/35R19. They where the worst tires I have had, traction was terrible and the back felt loose all the time. In my N/A 6spd at 60 mph I could shift down to pass and bark to tires. Take offs sucked. The 275 G-MAX'S I have not are night and day difference
I do know the temp for the tire is real important and when up at Bandimere this last fall they were excellent and I was running upper 12's so for street tires the grip was good for 1/4 mile runs. Around town if the temp is above 70deg they perform well. I have had Invos and p6's that were not as good at upper temps but if cold they are just average for traction. The conti's had much less grip but better cold handling and the Michelin super sports were similar to the F 1's but cost more.
Yes....Yes.....No.....and No. Plus you already have a perfect set (according to your avatar)
I thought you was saying the smaller rear rims will be better

Yes 16" drag wheels and tires are best. More sidewall to give better flex and grip but overall height of wheel and drag radial are close to the OEM 19".
