SRT-6 Aftermarket Heat Exchanger (Intercooler)
Still chasing the wrong end of the puzzle....you could literally have a H/E the exact same as the radiator and still has the same IAT's. The I/C core is and will always be the limitation. Not the capacity of the system.
I wouldn't worry about the supercooler taking up too much surface area in front of the radiator. I have a 26x16x4 (33x16x4 w/end tanks) FMIC in front of my radiator, with no ill effect. The stock fan does a great job of cooling!
To recap for those that don't know my history, I've had stock, E55 and tighed1's heat exchanger. On top of that a leaking intercooler that was introducing pressurized air into the system and interfering with cooling. Separated and connected cooling systems too. Recently I rejoined the cooling systems as well and going back to tighed1's cooler. As stated time and time again by lots of people the extra capacity in the H/E results in a longer passage of time before reaching 20º to 25º over ambient. Where the super cooler shines is keeping the IAT's in check while driving full out. By full out I mean WOT for extended periods of time. Driving to the track this weekend my IAT's were 20º over ambient cruising and 25º to 30º crossing the mountains. I can't see the IAT's on the dashdaq while racing but always look when I slow down to pit. The were just under 150º which is an improvement. I was seeing 185º with the E55 H/E. Not to mention the MUCH quicker recovery time. The downside, if you can call it that, is at WOT for extended periods (over 10 minutes) the car runs around 5º warmer with the radiator covered by the cooler. What has helped me a bit is lots of foam stuffed into the crevices to force more air through the radiators. I should mention the reason for reconnecting the cooling systems. Every time I checked the super cooler it wasn't full. Perhaps because of the leaking intercooler but I couldn't get it full to the top for some reason. Connected, the H/E system is pressurized and full to the top. I know because after driving coolant was dripping out the overflow ….. I guess my cap is bad. I plugged the overflow for now. Do I make sense?

$450 isn't such a bad price to ensure that your engine lives. I see that Eurocharged lists their HE at $499 now. This is an OK unit, shorter, thicker than NW and allows the stock radiator more direct cooling air. If you would go with the EC unit, I devised a better mounting set up for it.
