Default Is installed the IC pump still doing same thing

I installed the new IC pump from NeedsWings and the car is doing the same thing. I can turn the car off and start it back and it it runs Great for a minute and then goes into limp mode. I installed the pump refilled the fluid lost and that was it. Am I missing something here? I feel like the pump is not even running. I checked fuse 13 as well and it's good. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Nevermind. Clamped off the return hose just before the T with a pair of vise grips and let it idle for 20 minutes. All is good! Runs like a rabid ape in Africa chasing a banana truck. So happy with this car! I swear it's just as fast as my dad's stock 392 SRT Challenger.

I found that I take the small bleeder hose and run it into a 1qrt drink bottle - and squeeze the hose as you mentioned, you can fill the bottle numerous times and simply put it back into your coolant tank.

yes - but with the bottle I noticed it coughed and spluttered few a bottle or 3 before settling down.
Also you can gauge the number of micro bubbles floating around - quite amazing. I noticed this in my little pump test rig as well.
I'm only running the 2GPM Lightning pump ATM in the car, but have a 5GPM Pierburg CWA50 under test in the rig..

PS - I'm not sure if its an SRT6 thing, but the IC pump on my SLK32 wasn't working for months and I noted IAT's of 80+C (180F) in my logs and my SC (and car) just kept cranking. Mind you I only register 5-5.5 sec. 0-62's but no hick ups lumps or bumps in performance.
I have a new pump now.

I'm having the same problem; new pump, double flush and filled.....
Could it be a I/C priming issue? What's the best way to be sure the I/C is full? (primed)
Didn't quite understand the quart bottle trick on a previous post; please advise.

see if the pictures help

PS - my install is probably not as pretty as others as I cut the old connector off to connect the new pump (with pigtails).
However this allowed me to hot wire the pump using the battery as shown.
If you have a neater solution with OEM plugs, I'm not sure how you can hot wire the pump.

The vice grips did the trick for me. I let the car idle for 15 minutes and it started working like a charm.
