Engine pulleys
Can anyone tell me where I can get a diagram of which engine pulley is called what. I need to replace a couple and cannot tell which ones to get. I have the ability but not the smarts. I have the service manual PDF.but it does not tell that I can find.
Click on the link below, scroll down to link #15 and you will see the diagram of the SRT6 serpentine belt diagram. Using the diagram, you should be able to ID the pulleys in question.
Also look for a sticky listed as SRT6 documentation and it will provide the information as well.

Is this any help?

Ok thanks I didn't notice it was in the SRT6 section so I replaced it with the SRT.

This is the supercharger idler pulley I ordered from Rock Auto. You have to do a part number( 120 200 04 70) search to find it. The pulley they list under Crossfire for the SRT6 is the same as the n/a so it might be the wrong part.
You are correct sir! The idler pulley I got from them (Rock Auto) is also only six groove and because the have it listed for the SRT (6 groove) and is to them the correct one according to Chrysler I have to pay to return the wrong part. Why would anyone deal with them?
O K got that. Rock Auto did sent a 6 groove idler pulley like the website said it was. I did not notice it was wrong. Sent back. What car do you find the 8 groove like you list above?
As a tip you can modify your previous post rather than leave two ambiguous statements for the future readers.
I don't know what car they list it under. I just used the Mercedes part# 120 200 04 70 that was on the supercharger idler pulley and did a part number search and found it.
O.K., I can see my statements could be confusing. I ordered the idler pulley from Rock Auto that showed clearly to be only a 6 groove. I did not know at the time I needed an 8 groove pulley. I called to tell them they listed the 6 groove as the correct one for an SRT and the guy said it was correct per Chrysler and therefore I had to pay to send it back. Thanks again Robby363 for your help.

I would remind them that on this forum and their Face Book forum, if they have one, a bad comment costs them money and is a blotch on their
reputation.

How would you separate the pulley to get the bearing out? Plus the bearing on mine wasn't the problem. Somehow the area where bearing sits in expanded allowing the bearing slide around in it.
That may be a Mercedes part and there are pulleys like that for less than half the cost as they are quite common. You just have to find the correct size.
Whatever the cause or trouble I was able to find both idler pulleys at AUTOHAUSAZ. Thanks to robby363. I found them by using 2004 Mercedes SLK32 AMG. Both fit like a charm for $100.
