Does anyonw have their tune set for shifts at 6500rpm?

I would think the motors should handle an increase of 300rpm and that would keep the revs up between shifts. My ride seems to get quicker the faster it goes, like 3rd gear and 4th are better than 1st and 2nd, opposite than I would expect. My cobra was useless in the first 2 gears with a 6-speed Magnum tranny. Well, anyone shifting at higher rpm's and if so who did the tune and at what rpm's are you at? Thanks

One question I have about raising the shift point to 6500rpm is if it can be done with the ECU or if the TCU needs to be reprogrammed. I was told by a reliable source that the ECU can be tuned to change the shift points. Keeping the revs a couple of hundred rpm's higher between shifts would seem beneficial with my ride.

The ECU controls the engine redline. The TCU controls the shift points. If you raise the redline in the ECU with a tune and leave the TCU stock, it will shift at the stock shift points. If you leave the ECU redline stock and raise the TCU shift points you'll hit the engine redline and have to shift manually. You know that rev limiter sound, missing heavily from interrupted spark. If you raise them both you'll still need a cushion between the 2. If both are set to 6500 you'll hit the rev limiter. The TCU will need to be set lower than the ECU to allow time for the shift as the revs climb. My best advice if you want to learn more is ask lots of questions of Eurocharged. My TCU tune was from Evotech and I always hit the rev limiter so I went back to stock shift points. Now I have it in the closet, unused, unloved, so sad.
