Might be selling my SRT-6 Coupe
I might be selling my SRT-6. A C6 Corvette is calling my name!
What do you think it's value is?
What would be a fair trade-in offer?
Should I remove all of the go-fast parts and sell them separately?
Oh yeah, the car itself is in good condition. It's not FP/acrispy1 show condition. It has some chips in the paint on the hood (normal driving wear) and a couple scratches on the lower front fascia, from curbs and parking chock blocks. And a small (3"?) scratch on the passenger rear fender (which matches the one on my Honda, you can imagine how that happened. Dammit!) The interior is spotless. There is some wear on the center console, just like everyone else has, where the console finish is worn off in spots where your knee or thigh or elbow touch). I also have a very high-end 7"-flip-out screen stereo (Eclipse brand) installed, which includes GPS navigation and it plays MP3 CDs. The amp and speakers are stock. The wheels are stock and 1 has a little curb rash. Lastly, it has the custom built limited slip differential from the group buy. Of course, that won't be coming out to sell. LOL
Oh yeah, it's got 45,700 miles on it.
Parts:
NeedsWings single CAI
NeedsWings ported Y pipe
NeedsWings intake manifolds
phenolic spacers
NeedsWings SuperCooler with coolant separation connection/valve
NeedsWings Catch Can
Original Code3 Supercharger Pulley
SpeedDriven (Rudy) smaller Supercharger pulley (brand new, never installed)
Sprint Booster (SRT-6 version)
Custom SRT-6 logo floormats and trunk mat (only used at shows)
SRT-6 logo'd fender mat (so you don't scratch the fender when you're wrenching under the hood)
Official SRT-6 luggage (3 peices - 1 used, 2 new)
4 silver Mercedes AMG rims - fronts have a little curb rash.
Also a pair of Mickey Thompson ET Streets on Vox 17" rims. The rims are spotless (no rash - no curbs at the drag strip!)
Any idea what I could get for all of that? Individually or separately?
Thanks,
Tom

What's the difference between individually and separately ?
I'd say the whole shebang would be in the $2k - $3k range, but MrMiata is gonna offer you $5

Mrmiata don't need no 6 parts.. and he's not into redistribution.. so not even my 5 dollar bill.. LOL
There is a Louisiana barrister offering everyone else $17,000 FIRM, you might give him a shot.
The add-ons and extras probably would not add to the value for him but he is heavily into new, matched tires.
Check the classified section . Be forewarned his definition of FIRM is quite flexible within a very broad range.

Hi Tom, I really hate to see the long time forum members starting to sell of their Crossfires! I am interested in the Needswings intake manifolds.

Don't do it Tom! Everybody and their grandma has a base model c6 corvette now. The srt6 is rare! I've only seen one other one besides mine in person. Now if you are getting a z06 or zr1, then I completely understand. The performance gain is worth the switch.
Thanks guys. I'll keep you guys posted here what's going on.
Today I went to test drive a C6 Vette near me, but the dealership must have filled out the form on Autotrader wrong. They had it as a manual, but it was an automatic. So no love there. That's the primary reason I want to get rid of the Crossfire, that darn automatic transmission! So the search goes on.
I had one person interested in possibly purchasing my SRT with all the mods. For that I think $14k is a fair price. Without the mods $12? Does that sound right to you guys?

I love Corvettes, I have nine of them. I use to have ten, but I sold my C6 after getting my SRT6. I preferred the SRT6 and it's going up in value and the C6 is on a downhill slide with the C7's on the road. Just a thought.

As for your car, I say start high. Remove all the mods and ask $14k. A stealership will give you like $7k for it
