Default idle air control system problem

Does anyone have any experience with the idle air control valve? Engine light on solid but no running issues., heavily modded.

Get a new IAC valve. Or clean your original one out.

Code from obd is p0505 indicating a fault in the air control system. Where is it located? I would like to learn to clean it myself.
