Default Intake, exhaust and a tune

I'm approaching my third year with my 2005 SRT6 Roadster. Looking to get the best bang for the buck on performance upgrades. Considering the NW Dual Intake, Magnaflow Muffler and a tune. Estimating approx, $2000 (give or take) for all. I want to keep the car a reliable daily driver for the summers in the North East, Am I in the right track for mild upgrades without compromising reliability?

No need for the exhaust unless you want a different tone and not much help with HP. Spend that money on a pulley while you're getting a tune and then pick what cold air intake setup you want. Bingo bango, you're now ready to stomp a nice array of sports and muscle cars. Enjoy!

Same boat as you. I just have the NW DCAI and their catch can. I thought about getting a pulley and tune but people having issues down the road with their tune or pulley is not cool to hear.

Like Chuk said, a catback exhaust won't do much at all since the factory SRT-6 exhaust flows very well. If anything a FULL exhaust will save quite a bit of weight if anything and make it loud. But keep it simple and remove the rear resonator and if its not loud enough have the rear CATs removed. I plan on removing my rear CAT's this Spring for a bit of extra noise.

Thanks for the responses! I am definitely going to add the intake first. I didn't expect much from the muffler swap but always liked the sound of the Magnaflow mufflers. The Eurocharge sale on the pulley and tune is tempting but not sure I want to change the pulley at this time. Will do the tune once I have finished all the modifications.
Thanks again

Revny1964 - you could do the NW CAI (not dual), NW modified intake manifolds and EC tune and pulley(even though you stated you were hesitant about the pulley - your call there). That would be just over $2,000. Need to research if this will get you into any lean issues though. I have the DCAI, code 3 pulley (2nd gen), modified intake manifolds, EC tune and needed to upgrade to the 55 fuel pump. Whatever you choose it will be fun.
