I have been a crossfire owner since 2010 and I have relied on this site as first source of info when ever my car has issues. All the contributors here are very knowledgeable and helpful. One thing I cannot find and I think would be helpful to everyone on the forum is to develop a comprehensive list of all the known Crossfire mechanics and shops in the us and around the world so that when a crossfire owner is in need they can reference the list and know their car is in good hands.

On a separate note does anyone know a good shop in the Sacramento/Lodi CA area? My car left me stranded had it towed to Lodi Chrysler Dodge and was told they don't have the scanner to look at my car.

 

I'm 3 hrs. West of Sacramento, and can't help you with a shop referral(unless you want to tow it to Santa Rosa), but if you let us know the symptoms of your issue/breakdown, there's a good chance you may get an accurate diagnosis right here.

How about the Northern Virginia area?

 

I think that is a great idea but only if someone could create a program where owners could enter their own recommendations sorted by at least States, if not counties. I don't believe there is an INDIVIDUAL willing to compile and maintain a list on an ongoing basis.

 

Euro Auto Care in Davidsonville, Maryland. I got nowhere with the electronic gremlins in my 2004 coupe, the Chrysler and MB shops in my area did not have a clew...until I found Lou at Euro Auto Car.
Also worth mentioning was a shop in DC called Benz Magic. They had my car for several weeks and tried to resolve the issues..They could not figure it out. When I went to pick the car up I could`nt find it..I asked where the *&^%&^ is my car, and they said "its being detailed"...It still had issues, but Damn, it looked great !..When I asked the owner what i owed them he said.."absolutely nothing, we tried but did`nt fix it"... Never had that happen at any shop !

Hey amx, I own a 2005 Crossfire and live in Ft Lauderdale as well. We've had a few issues over the years of ownership, and have been able to solve most of them with help from a mechanic friend or our local dealer. Problem is, our local dealer no longer has a Crossfire tech (he left for greener pastures) and we're having the alarm going off at odd times problem that many Xfire owners here said was resolved by replacing their SKREEM module. You had a place in Plantation as a reputable repair shop, would you happen to know if they have experience with this type of problem?

Our issue is further complicated because the top stopped halfway up and we can't get it closed now, so I don't know if that's the issue or not, but we need a good repair shop who can help us without breaking us.

 

In northern Virginia Fairfax Auto Repair 9425 Mathy Drive. They did my pre-purchase inspection. Repaired leaking differential.
