Default No power off the line

If I hammer the car at a dead stop it rolls, sits and then takes off. I would like to see it spin the wheels and not put my head forward into the headliner. I've replace the pump with the "10" but I can't impress the crowds, when I try to peel out and hit my head it's embarrassing. Please help

Would a new crank position sensor help.

Something is wrong, peeling out even when stock is easy with this car. You floor it and the tires should break lose with no problem. The lack of power comes from when the IC pump isnt working and the blower it overheated, maybe you didnt put the pump on right?

Even then when you first start the car from a cold start you should have no problem roasting the rear.

Did you turn off the traction control first?

I believe the IC pump is OK I have good boost at low speeds and at high speeds. Even when the engine is cold and temp out side is in the 50's, no spin. I have not turned off the traction control this is the first time I've heard that.

The motor tends to bog if TC is on and you start spinning. It's the trans not wanting to go up a gear without traction, so it stays in gear and drops RPMs. You can't do much of a burnout without turning it off.

The way he describes the problem he makes it sound like if he mashes it the gas the car does nothing but roll out slowly then it starts to build acceleration.

Add a wavetrac and you'll freak out. Just be careful impressing you friends. Watch the Mustang cars and coffee videos if you don't know what I mean.

Yes but that is not the whole story. from the DaimlerChrysler manual 2004 for Mercedes slk 170 series and Chrysler crossfire 170 series W = wet/snow/sand/ and save gas!

even when "W" you floor it the tranny starts off in first gear.
