Rear SRT rims in front?
Has anyone tried using the 19x9" Crossfire SRT rear rim on the front of a Crossfire SRT? I was thinking that it would look cool to have the same diameter front and rear, and maybe go with a 235/35-19 tire in front, and a 275/35-19 in the rear (Nitto Invo's?).
According to Discount Tire Directs tire size calculator, the diff in the front tires (as compared to the stock 225/40-18 tire) amounts to:
Minus .3" sidewall height, plus .39" section width, and plus .39" overall diameter.
For info sake, a 235/40-19 appears to be too big:
Plus .16" sidewall height, plus .39" section width, plus 1.31" overall diameter.
Again, for info's sake (in case a 235/35-19 appears to be too much change), comparing stock 225/40/18 to a 225/35-19:
Minus .44" sidewall height, .00 (no diff) section width, +.11" overall diameter. Appears to be a totally safe change.
I've seen it mentioned that changing the rear tire from 255/35-19 to a 275/35-19 is no problem, and DTD's calculator bears that out:
255/35-19: Sidewall height- 3.51" -- Section width- 10.04" -- Overall diameter- 26.03"
275/35-19: Sidewall height- 3.79" (+.28") -- Section width- 10.83" (+.79") -- Overall diameter- 26.58" (+.55")
So back to the original question... has anyone tried, or does anyone know if stock rear Crossfire SRT rims will work on the front of a Crossfire SRT?
Thanks for any help!!

BTW, if anyone would like a link to their calculator...

The offset will be the issue, if you don't mind the rim sticking out of the fender a bit (15mm or so)
You can always get a proper sized tire

I saw a Crossfire for sale about 9 months ago that was outfitted with the WRONG larger rims in the front. Noticed the WRONG sized tires right off the bat. It made the car sit funny looking. I asked the salesman what was up with that? He replied that was the way he bought it at the auction. It looked like A$$, however, I may borrow the staggered rim idea for my Vega project.
