What are the available transmissions in the srt6? Whats an "autostick"?

 

Only one available and it is the auto stick. That is the automatic with a manual shift mode.

 

So you can drive it like a normal automatic? Is is slower?

 

Slower? Maybe a little, but the Porsche Carrera S I encountered the other evening
had a manual shift, and it only helped him a little, out of the hole. And, I do believe
there was a bit of hesitation on my part, as I was behind him at the start, and I did
not know for sure if he was going to go for it, so I held back just a bit before punching
down on the accelerator.

 

Yes, just put it in drive and it's a normal auto.

 

put the autostick in"1" position with left foot on brake...slowly press right foot on accelerator pedal to raise RPM'S ...be ready to right "click" the stick to manual shift car...FULL THROTTLE!!!!!!!Result?MASSIVE ACCELERATION AND BURNOUT SMOKE from the rear tires...less accel. will allow the tires to hook-up and dig in without wasteing torque and rubber...ALSO refer to the latest CAR AND DRIVER road comparo test ...'05 CORVETTE 0-60 (4.6 sec.)...05 SRT-6 0-60(4.8 sec)...GOOD ENUF WITH 2 LESS CYLINDERS IN A CAR WITH COMPARABLE VEHICLE WEIGHT...WADDA YA THINK !!!!!!!!
