Default Maintenance

Ready to pull from storage. 15K on it. I'm thinking time for fluid changes. oil, trans, radiator. anything else? low miles, but 12 years old. can I trust a garage monkey? don't want to go to a stealership.
thanks.

Differential
Power Steering
Brake Fluid

All these jobs were performed by two old, broken-down geezers, on 2 cars, in one afternoon.
I would go to a shop (independant!) that specializes in Euro cars

You have 12 year old brake fluid and this guy does not think that is an issue?
I'd not listen to anything he says after hearing that.

My 07 has 38,000 on it. It just got differential and brake fluid (as well as new street performance pads, those OEM pads are HORRIBLE); I've got to get shorter bits to do the transmission (Manual) and will get to that in a few weeks.

Here is something you will think is surprising - I sure did. My differential fluid was down about 1/3, it is leaking out the right seal, but ONLY when MOVING. No oil on the floor. Had I not done the service, I'd not know that I was leaking. Your car is super low miles, it sits way too much - the chance of leaks or other issues is higher with your car than mine. I'd get under there and see what's going on. Make sure SOMEONE is paying attention to the amount of fluid that comes out.

But it's your car, and if you trust him (you don't or you would not be asking us), then .............................................

Definitely change the brake fluid, your life and other peoples lives depend on your brakes. Who knows how the car was maintained by other owners if you are not the first owner. Some owners fuss over their cars and others just drive them into the ground.

the reason the brake fluid is on top of everyone's list is because
as it is in storage ,the temp of the building gets hot then cold that causing condensation, and water in the brake fluid means your brakes does not work as well ,,water in brake fluid also allows your calibers to rust from the inside out,
this is for every part in your car that contains gas, and or ,oil (water does not mix with oil

it is not the mileage ,but the temp change,, now you know why Jay leno has heat and AC wher he stores any and all his cars. jim

+1 on the last 3 posts.

It ain't miles, in this case, that'll get you-it's the age.

Yepper, I'm going to change everything. Peace of mind, and I priced it out. Around $ 400.00 for everything. No big deal.
??? intercooler. Change or wait? how many miles before they start to fail?
