Who can refurbish SRT6 wheels?
I have a 19" SRT6 wheel I'd like refurbished. Does anyone know of a company who can refurbish it to new condition? I do see on occasion refurbished wheels for sale on eBay. Please let me know.
Also anyone selling any new SRT6 center caps. I just need a couple. Thanks

Might help if you identify where you live, for a search in your local area. You may want to visit the service manager at a high end dealer, such as Mercedes, BMW or Audi, since they are more likely to have a wheel vendor that takes care of their used cars with wheel rash. Center caps are rare, maybe a salvage yard?
This should give you a starting point.....

Do your own refurb. Judicious sanding then wheel paint of your choice then clear coat. You can make them look pretty good. Check my wheels in my album.
The SRT6 wheels outer spokes and rim have a machined finish which is impossible to duplicate without them being CNC machined. the inner spoke and rim is a silver metallic color with the whole wheel being clear coated.
We are lucky to have a number of places in town that can restore the wheels properly... but this is in Houston.

not knowing where you are, we have a service here in the ft lauderdale fl area that does excellent re-machining work, will pick up and deliver for $150.00 if that helps you at all.
we need the name ,address, & phone # so we can add that to the repair list. jim
I just find it quite odd that recent thread starters, never respond to the efforts forum members provide answers to their questions. Usually they either are limited contributors or lack the ability to click on the "SEARCH" button, considering this site dates back 13 years.
In this case, this subject has been reviewed several times over the past few years, with solutions to this problem.
Just my 2 cents....

This is really good advice. I found a wheel restoration service here in Greenville, SC one Sunday while cruising several car dealerships. At the Land Rover dealer, there was a wheel restorer working on a couple of Land Rovers on Sunday. Had a complete service center in his truck. He could remove the tire from the rim, perform any welding required, re-machine the wheel, apply paint (if req'd) & clearcoat, re-mount & balance the tire. Really something to watch him work. The results were amazing! Got a business card from him.
