Default 2005 Crossfire SRT

I had my alternator replaced. The mechanic use a 6 groove pulley instead of the 7 groove pulley. It threw the belt and damaged the camshaft position sensor plug. The check engine light comes on. I replaced the plug. The check engine light continues to come on. When I scan for codes it continues to read "camshaft position sensor wiring and is hard to start. When I reset the code it starts fine. How do I reset the code to eliminate the problem?

First make sure your wiring , to the camshaft positioning sensor is correct. Reset the code , then disconnect the battery for 15 minutes. If it still persists , you may need to change the sensor. Please use a Bosch , they fit the connectors better than most aftermarket products...
