Carlisle this year in a nut shell
THere were fewer cars by a bit when I arrived at 945 there were no lines entering gate #3 I believe it was. Fewer crossfires and the na and srt's were divided on the field.
When I returned to the hotel after dinner saturday bout 8pm, I counted cars and got 8 crossfires in the lot, bout 1/2 from last year.
There is less energy overall and fewer crossies too.
Weather and conversation were great, a good time was had by all that were able to make it up there. see ya next year likely, Woody

It was great to see old friends and the conversations we had on Saturday. The reduction in the number of Crossfires is due to age of the Crossfire and the turnover of ownership over the past 10 years. The highest number of Crossfire attendees were in the 2008-2010 years, with a one year high of 50+.
It's a niche car that can't compete with the cars of the 60's and 70's, because of the numbers manufactured and desirability of the muscle cars. Less cars will attend this event in the future, like it or not.
This is a non-Mopar car, built in the era of Daimler-Chrysler.
