2005 SRT6 Coupe - Am I Missing Something Here?
2005 SRT6 Coupe - Am I Missing Something Here?
Hello,
Check engine light went on this past week. Plugged in my scan tool and P0335 pops up telling me it's the crankshaft position sensor. Followed the many "how to's" here and on YOUTUBE. That Paul Diguer's walk through was on point. It's a PIA! Patience, patience patience plus 1/4" drive extensions, tape, double knuckle and the E8 and E14 sockets. Done!!
Now for the possible missing item. Looking at the front of the motor, pass side, there is an L shaped bracket that besides being a guide of sorts for the surpentine belt, it has a machined hole at the front. Am I missing something that should mount there? I did see the enhanced photo showing the belt routing on the SRT6. That photo does show all the pulleys I have...nothing missing. Am I correct...I'm not missing something there?
Pic follows:
Thanks in advance!

If you look in my album, you'll see that I made use of that hole to add rigidity to my modified belt wrap. This system can be attributed to Tighed1, much credit to his ingenuity.
