Stock stereo with NAV.
Hi all, was wondering if these are hard to find. My SRT6 came with a different stereo added by a previous owner. But it is not that great. Wondering how hard it is to find a stock unit? Thank you!
The NAV is out of date by some 16 or so years, it is not updatable and the info is on CDs, East and West.
I had one in my car and it worked on old roads, but a lot of times it seemed to think that I was going cross country.
OK in its day but a dinosaur 🦖 now. I keep mine for old times sake, my car can be put back to stock.
As stated, I wouldn't be too concerned about NAV due to no updated discs.
There are several available in the search link below. One even has Bluetooth Streaming...

The only reason you would want it is to bring your car back to stock condition....otherwise it is horrible compared to modern GPS units. Google maps in my cell phone is far superior. I have a mount on my dash for my cell phone.
like 180, i too still have my original with the NAV, but i swapped it out for a pioneer head unit with a backup camera and blue tooth hands free if for no other reason than safety on the roads around south florida. the GPS function is as good as my phone and with my old eyes a bit easier to read the maps on, lol.
Why would you put an OEM unit in? Mine went out and I put in an $85 JVC head and the difference was out of this world.
I've had three Crossfires, always wanted to keep them stock. But when I put the JVC in as a temporary fix, I was so overcome with good audio, I made up my mind that I'm never going back to the outdated OEM head units.

If I was contemplating returning to the OEM style stereo, I wouldn't put in the version with GPS. Too antiquated a design. I'd install the OEM version w/o GPS. Simply a stereo with CD capability. Good enough for most of us.
Most would have difficulty in picking one from another so an excellent condition Nav unit would be better than a so so basic unit. The Nav unit can accept a trunk mounted CD magazine, I had one once. It also could be used in an emergency as a Nav unit.
With the aftermarket dash, I've just stuck with it, tho my intention was to get a marine unit after CAA.
