Side Louvers Styling and AMG front Brembo calipers
Well guys, recently I started feeling kind of bored with the way my side louvers were looking. So, I got a bit creative with it. I also installed a set of used front calipers out of a C55 AMG I had sat in my garage for a while. The brakes project is finally done. Here a couple pics for you guys to enjoy. Let me know if you like it.

Good observation. Maybe I should take a pic of the caliper with the rim removed but it's just the angle of the pic. If you notice the rim is actually covering must of the caliper in the picture.

That’s what I thought. They’re basically the same car with different engines and wheel base I believe.

I really like it - but I LOVE those wheels! Three questions, if you don't mind. What brand/name are the wheels? Are those actual MB center caps or are they decals? Would those AMG brakes fit our factory wheels?
Thanks - and keep being creative. I like seeing this kind of stuff!

Thank you for the good feedback. I feel really good when I can inspire you to get some passion for our unique vehicles. Now, answering all your questions:
1. Rims, these are the same factory wheels found on the gorgeous 2017 E43 AMG as shown below.
Mine, are a staggered set 19 x 8.5 and 19 x 9.5 in the rear. They are really hard to find on their factory form. However you can find good replicas on Amazon or eBay for around $900 the set.
2. Center cap, it is NOT a cheat sticker. It's a MB cap. Look closely.
3. Brembo/AMG Calipers, First than all, CORRECTION, I originally posted that I got my calipers out of a C55 AMG. However, they actually from a 2000 SL500 AMG as shown below. Sorry for the mistake.
They are a direct fit for our SRT6 front brakes only. Don't try this mod on a Base or Limited Crossfire model cause they have a slightly smaller brake disc and won't fit. The only thing you had to do is to place a couple washers between the section where the caliper is mounted in order to properly align the brake pads with the brake disc. This is a great and easy modification. These 4 pistons calipers are actually made by Brembo.
Hey guys last thing, next week I will dyno my car in order to establish my initial horse power before installing fuel mods and tuning followed by a final dyno-run. I expect to get at least 375hp. I'll keep you posted!

Got to hand it to you the brakes/wheel combo looks fantastic. How do they perform compared to standard?
Well done. Would you mind telling us the Brembo part numbers written on the calipers and the diameter of the rotors.

Good question, I wish that in the excellent articles about brake upgrades that are on this forum the part numbers were mentioned.
The callipers have a number on each part, so each calliper has four numbers on it. The assembly number is not there. One of the bridge pieces has the rotor diameter marked on it, what also would be nice to know is the rotor thickness.
There is a Brembo list of calliper assembly numbers but it does not mention the part numbers. I have a set of Brembo front callipers and I can see the part numbers and rotor diameter but I really cannot be sure what car model it came from. The diameter is the same as the SRT.
I’ll see if I can find the Brembo list.
