Default OEM Dampers (Shock Absorbers)

Can anyone tell me what manufacturer produced the original equipment dampers for the SRT6 Roadster? Are they gas pressure? Are they multitube or monotube?

The reason I ask is that I will soon be acquiring a 2005 Roadster. I know that Mercedes Benz has had a long working relationship with Bilstein and wondered whether this may have carried over to the SRT6. If they are not Bilstein I will plan to change them to Bilstein soon after acquisition - for the improved ride/handling compromise that Bilstein offers.

Thank you in advance for any information that any of you may provide.

They are gas powered, whether they are Bilstein’s idk but I’ve been under there and have never seen any Bilstein stamping on them.

Usually Bilstein dampers are painted yellow and have a Bilstein label on them. I have noted this on other OEM fittings, although I do not know if Mercedes/Karmann adopted that color scheme.
