have changed sensor after sensor check engine light still comes on mechanic said might be something with the brain (he is a certified mercedes mechanic) Anyone know where i can get one?

 

Your brain or the cars brain?
Only the car can get a transplant though.
Did you have it checked for trouble codes?
If so what are they?

 

Was the mechanic's name Forrest Gump? MB must have updated their vocabulary from ECU/RCM/Skreem to BRAIN, much easier for communicating diagnostic issues to the customer.
Must be Covid 19 related issue or a new BF.....

Please don't ask for help with a check engine light unless you tell us what code or codes are being presented. We need:

All codes that are causing the CEL to light.
All symptoms (car wont start, car runs rough, low mileage, poor performance, etc.)

Your car's ECU is not defective, in the eleven years I've been on this forum, I think we've seen two ECUs fail, and they didn't fail on their own - really stupid stuff was done to make them fail. Throwing sensors and a "brain" at the car because your "Mercedes certified mechanic" does not know what he is doing is not going to get the car running.
