Habe never really heard of this being an issue...did someone overfill the supercharger oil? Or use a supercharger screw when replacing pulley that isn't hollow like the OEM? I don't see how that should get clogged up..

I have 5 s/c for various reasons for test (magnetic, beaing, seal, oil leakage and so on...)
Just found yesterday one breathing and pushed air to other clogged snout then it gradually breathing.

Just out of curiosity. What are you trying to achieve/test?
My guess in this case they either used the wrong oil (viscosity) or overfilled, which leads the S/C snout to push the overfilled oil out through the snout and ultimately the hollow screw. But that would have to be a lot of overfilled oil to gum up this relatively large snout. I just don't see how it became clogged unless the wrong pulley screw was used (one that wasn't hollow), the wrong oil or just massive overfilling.
Never seen that issue on any of our pages through the years. What were the symptoms of this vehicle?
The begining was s/c oil leakage.
I replaced oil seal with additional spring ring but it leaks.
Then replaced needle bearing at snout but faced other problem.(It has many stories)
Anyway I agree with you.
I have always used hollow bolt and leakage occured 2-years later after replacing s/c oil with jet oil.
Snout breathing was found by accident.
Only one is easily breathing and it may be original condition, Others were no breathing but now very hard breathing after air pressure and chemicals.
