Default Run with Disengaged supercharger

Hey had a radiator hose blow and cracked my intercooler. If i get the NeedsWings Intercooler Fluid Isolation Kit is there a way to disengage the supercharger
Cannot afford to replace Intercooler right know and miss driving my car

You need to break the connection of the wires to the clutch. But the cooling will still work as it is still pumped by the common pump even with the cooling separation. (I'm a bit vague on this)
The car will not be as zippy as an NA though.

I think I would simple take the two hoses that connect to the intercooler off the connections at the front of the engine. Then get the correct size coupler and connect those two hoses to one another and drive the car. Everything should work as usual but the air will just be hotter with out the cooling of the intercooler. IF you get a warning light then disconnect the electric connection to the supercharger clutch and the intercooler pump down near the passenger side fog light. Probably changing the oil in the supecharger would be a good idea if you drive very far with the water not flowing.

"had a radiator hose blow and cracked my intercooler." I am trying to wrap my head around how a blown radiator hose could ever remotely be related to an intercooler "cracking" . Have you isolated the intercooler by unplugging both hoses, plugging one, and then pressurizing the other side to 20 psi or so to confirm that your intercooler is actually compromised? This is where I would start.

The coolant cools the air going through the supercharger as it goes through the IC fins, the air has been heated by being compressed. The same effect you feel when you hold a bicycle pump when filling a tire.
What normally cracks are the cooling fin joint's to the in and out manifolds in the inter-cooler.
This leads to a build up of dried coolant on the crack which keeps growing due to the continual leak.
NeedsWings sells or did sell an off market improved inter-cooler, not cheap.

I am quite aware of the inter-connection between the engine cooling system and the charge cooling system. And, I have never heard of a blown hose accelerating the failure of an intercooler. I am just suggesting that you confirm the core itself is compromised before you go through the bother and expense of replacing it.
