I ended up rear ending them, Cop and Insurance placed fault on other driver. Other driver of course didn't have insurance or speak the language and was not ticketed nor was the car towed, because of course they weren't in 2024.
Couldn't see the car well initially from my position being lower and further back from the dashcam, the insurance adjuster initially thought it was me accelerating it was actually the truck next to me from also being cut off. They entered the onramp going about 25.
There were other ways to probably avoid like being more aware of the guy cutting over 3 lanes, but I couldn't swerve out of the way because of a car behind me.
USAA paid out 10k, I bought the car back for 1K. Will attempt to fix it, it is drivable, the adjuster said employee drove it from the lot in Bedford to Fort Worth, which is a good hour away, so that's positive.

Is this SRT6 VIN# 58107, that was located at Copart in Texas?
I assume this car will have a Branded Title assigned to this car? Dennis

Yep, will work on getting a rebuilt title once it's back. Damage doesn't look too heavy, front clip, intake, hood is what I can see. Pics of the Car, Cop refusing to cite attached.
Intercooler light came on when I was pulling off waiting for police, so probably the waldig intercooler too I'd assume.

Well I drove it home in the most illegal way possible, No tags, registration/inspection, and insurance that went in effect the next day. But I made it home. About 55 Miles from the Copart yard. Started to overheat in stop and go traffic, so I had to turn on the heater to max (in 104F temps) and pull into a gas station.
Basically the radiator support was pushed in, which prevented the e-fan from spinning. after removing everything the A/C seems to be working fine but would get overwhelmed without an E-Fan and cut on/off on the way home.
The waldig is fine! No issues there, but the Radiator behind it is bent and will need to be replaced.
The passenger Headlight rear housing was broken and cracked. Could probably ghetto rig it and use some adhesive or putty. But I'll just replace it. Looks like around $270 for a bad quality one. $350 for a nice one without a ton of oxidation.
Purchased the entire Front Clip, Pump, hoses, Radiator, E-Fan, harness and wiring from a seller on Ebay. Was able to Haggle down an extra $200.
there's a 90 degree bend on the needs wings DCAI that's bent, and the two filters that will need to be replaced. Bumper can likely be salvaged.
Will shop around for a hood in a bit, but I'm probably not even going to think this will be done until closer to winter. cutting the welds off the front, and attaching up the new one will take a lot of time and energy and it's 104 so I'm not doing that right now lol.
Do yourself a huge favour. I had a similar issue with an engine swap from a donor that had a font end collision.
start it up and look straight down at the crank pulley. I did a complete rebuild and didn’t notice that the nose on the crank was bent from the impact. Everything looked great and I didn’t notice it until I installed the rebuilt engine and fired it up. It ran for 5 minutes I noticed the wobble and had to remove the engine again, drop off the bottom and find another crank. I had to fly to Texas to pick it up.
easy to miss and a PITA after the fact cause you have to do it twice.
also check the front cover for cracks. Mine was cracked where the tensioner attached to the engine.
had to get that part in Phoenix.

I'll definitely check it when I get the front off. I don't think anything is bent, since it did Drive 55 miles and no noticeable shakes or vibrations (beyond what's typical with the suspension) What appeared to save the pulleys and belt was actually the Needswings PSK. The bracket there prevented the e-fan from pushing back any further into the belt/pulleys
Should have the new Front Clip by Friday. Boy will that be an interesting conversation piece for the wife.
It just hurts to hear and see this. The POS who cut you off needed a ticket. Now I know why there used to be (are?) gun battles on the loop around Houston. Good luck getting it back together and running.
