Smile Fuel Filter Install

Wow...impressed myself on Saturday by installing a new fuel filter. Took some time but well worth it and the black liquid that came out of the old fuel filter told me it was well worth the time and energy for this old gal to do this work. Love working on my SRT. Last job was installing new shocks....thankful for You Tube videos...they really help. Have a great day...next project is the steering damper...I think!
Currently at 68K miles...How often should I replace the fuel filter?

Regarding how often fuel filter should be replaced: The maintenance schedule is every 60,000 miles.

It not only mileage. You have to factor in the age also. If a car sits more than it gets driven, parts like this need to be replaced more often than the reccomended mileage.

Very good reason to have a backup clunker/vehicle to drive. When your primary vehicle (aka Crossfire) acts up, you have time to self help (with the help of the forum here on our crossfires...

I agree. It's good to have for parts runs as well.
