Default Srt6 alternator

Hi from France
My 2006 srt6 have a bad bearing noise from inside the alternator.
I am a rare one to have the bosch alternator in the srt6...but i cant find any replacement with a 8 grooves pulley. I only find the valeo with the srt6 pulley.
So i heard some people have swap valeo to bosch alternator in the srt6, with minor modification to the b+ wire. Can someone tell me what was the precise modification to do ? I'm searching for what will be the easiest between swaping the pulley with a bosch alt or do a little modification for the b+ on the valeo one.

Thanks !

Can you find a shop that can rebuild your alternator?

Click on the attached EBAY link and it will provide you with a source for a Bosch model alternator (Same fit as a MB SLK32 (2000-2004). There must be a repair shop that rebuilds alternators in France. You should also go to an independent Mercedes Benz repair shop that will assist in your search and repairs.
Good Luck....

The pulley will come off; you will need an impact driver.
You can switch the pulleys

Swaped the alternator today, good thing to know about the srt6, you can swap a bosch alternator to a valeo one, without any modification, installation was smooth.
We ve made a video of the full process, its french but it can help
