While it is not the Fountain of Youth, nor the cure for male-pattern baldness, it is still an important discovery. I have found the cure to the common midlife crisis! Yes, it is called the Crossfire SRT-6!
Here's the prescription (I am a doctor after all.): Take one heck of a great deal (2005 Coupe, Graphite w/ Nav for $35,553 incl tax, title, prep, etc), seek out an open stretch of highway, and then firmly plant your right foot to the floor. Repeat as necessary.

Hey Doc, You may not be a "Louis Pasteur" or even a "Jonas Salk" either, but your prescription would most assuredly treat most forms of "CAB", (Chronic Automotive Boredom.)
Even if most of our insurance "Prescription Drug Plans" would not cover it, it's still a bargain. Especially at the Generic price of under 30k that some dealers are willing to sell em for on EBAY.
I'm just glad we don't have to go to Canada to buy them.

 

Be careful not to OD. There is always the chance of that happening when you drive a Crossfire.

 

Low 30s is now common #s for new SRT6s. I can't wait to find mine hmmm SSB? Graphite? Aeroblue? Why isn't there red and alabaster? Crap!
AND What's the big deal about the new Cayman, a Boxster with a hardcover! Same with and BMW Z4 coupe both in the $50k+ range? The porsche is over 60k pushing 70K with a few adds.

Already have one! Even if I do get a speeding ticket, it is a small price to pay for the motoring joy that this car is bringing me.

Or...as they(?) say ...no pain...no gain! Meaning... pain to those who do not know the amazing power and functional aerodynamics from a supercharged V-6 that performs within a few tenths of a second of the new standard C-6 Corvette...SHAZAM!!! Go Air Force!!!
