Sounds great...I have a friend that went and he said the Meguiars people are great, plus they give you some cool stuff at a good discount.

 

I agree Californians get all the cool stuff!

Yet, I think there's a few of these events in our area... Check the Meguiar's site for more info.

I think the last I saw there was an event not to far from REDCROSS down in southern MD.

 

UPDATE:

Meguiar's has Saturday, January 12, 2008 reserved for a local Honda S2000 club, but signups for this have been very light. The last time an S2000 group signed up they had something like a 90% no-show. The "rules" state that if a club does not fill up a given class by the Monday preceding the class, then said class is open to any forum members who wish to attend.

I spoke to Mike Phillips at Meguiar's today about this, and he said he'd love to have a bunch of Crossfire guys show up. So, here's the deal:

If on Monday, January 7, 2008 the class is not full, I will post a link here to the Meguiar's forum. You MUST BE A REGISTERED MEMBER OF MEGUIARSONLINE.COM to attend the class. You do NOT need to have posted previously, you just need to be a member. Of course membership to the forum is free, and once you sign up all you need to do is respond to the signup thread for the class. I'll link to that as well.

At this time I'd just like to see how many people we might be able to get for Saturday, 1.12.08. Can I see a show of hands?

 

I am interested in attending. What time does it start and how long is it?

 

The session starts with coffee and donuts at 8:00AM with the class proper beginning at 8:30. The whole thing usually runs until around 2:00 or 3:00PM. Sessions are held at Meguiar's HQ in Irvine, CA in the Skypark Circle area, across the 405 FWY from John Wayne Airport. They hand out goodie bags at the end of the session, normally with full size bottles of some products, not just little samples. This time around they should have some new products - most likely NXT 2.0, etc.

 

Put me down for the class, lets get some support going!!!
