Best way to clean interior glass/front windshield?
Hey guys,
One thing I have trouble with when cleaning the interior of the Crossfire is getting down to the bottom part of the windshield. I end up feeling like I am playing a game of twister and probably look like a pretzel while doing so! I end up working up a sweat, getting sweat all over the dash from where my arm was resting on it, etc.
My car is a coupe - so I don't have the luxury of pulling the top down to allow more space to move.
I'm not a 'big' guy, very average, and have trouble finding an easy way to clean the glass.
Any tips/tricks for this area?
Also, what are the best cleaners and towels/rags for interior glass? Old school used to be newspaper - any new tricks?
Thanks in advance.

I also have a coupe. The best thing that I have found is a clean wet dish cloth and wipe with a clean towel. I don't use any fabric softener with the towels that I use on my cars. My wife was the one that told me about this after she had trouble getting her windows clean. Windex and other cleaners just don't do the job and leave a residue.
I use Dur Wonder multi-purpose yellow waffle weave microfiber towels and a good commercial grade glass cleaner. One for wet wipe and one for dry. Commercial grade Windex at Home depot is good. I also like the kind that are spray aerosols.
A good glass micro fiber waffle cloth and Diamondite Perfect Vision Glass Cleaner does it for me.

I know what you mean about getting that area clean. I just fold a towel over and jam it between the windshield and dash and slide it, I don't think there is an easy way. By far the BEST window cleaner I've used is Stoners, its the best. So good my wife banged her elbow into the side window, she thought it was open.

3M foam glass cleaner... applied in the shade on a cool windshield and removed with a lint free older (but clean) towel...
wiping method (once glass is saturated) ... up & down ... side to side ... around the perimeter ... up & down ... side to side ... around the perimeter ...
and now ... welcome to a spotless windshield.

To get rid of hard water spots though (on outside) you need to use a glass polish or if your in a bind and your out of polish; a clay bar will do nicely!

I used Stoner liked it a lot but i now found something better, Adams Window Cleaner, works great. I use an old clean microfiber.
I use a micro fiber towel and Adam's detail spray on the glass. It actually cleans glass and leaves absolutely no streaks.

To reach the very bottom corners of the front windscreen, I wrap a MF towel once around the end of a paint stir stick. Stiff, yet gentle enough...and won't scratch if you have any touch at all.
