So true.... I've been doing all of that for years. Same wash mitt, same shampoos, two bucket wash, etc. While there's nothing really new there, it's all very good stuff indeed.

I use a microfiber wash mitt that I'm very pleased with.

Agreed! Microfiber works great for all surfaces on a car... it's the only thing that touches my lil beauty!

Been doing 90% of that stuff since I got my car so not too much new there. I found a nice bucket at Home Depot that has two sections in it. One for your clean suds and one to rinse. I also thoroughly wash out the bucket before I use it. That is a great guide for those that don't know how to wash their cars.
Jason how's school going?

This is what I also have been doing for years. I have had many black cars and I can tell you that when I switched to this method, the paint looks 100% better in the light. I always start with the roof and make my way down. I never use the mit I use on the rims anywhere else.

I've got a nice rat tail brush I use for my wheels. It even gets behind the spokes. I always do my wheels, wheelwells and as much under the car as I can before I wash the body. I also pre-dry the car with my leaf blower. That seems to get all the water out of those cracks and crevices. Makes the final drying go much faster. I have cut my drying towel use from 3 to 1.
