Default Help - Scratched Rims

Hi

I've scrapped the rims where the tire meets the rim (was against cement). How can these scratches be repaired?

When I bought my crossfire used the rims were scrached badly. The dealer had a guy that he took the car to that repaired them before I picked the car up. I'm not sure how he did it but they are like it never happened. These were the basic gray rims, he repaired,re-painted and clear coated them again. I believe it cost a couple hundred bucks but you might want to call around to a couple of car dealers and see if they have the same kind of resource. It is amazing what they can do now days.

Hmmm im wondering if the paint that he used is the same one that we can use for our stock rims..

It says, "lacquer that matches the standard allow wheel paint use by Porsche, BMW, Mercedes, VW, Audi and most other European OEMs."

Im guessing yes?
