Star Shield has produced a product that you paint on for temporary "clear bra" protection. Anyone used it?

Monday - called Star Shield Armor and ordered their "Debris Shield" $40+s/h think it's 32oz. I found out about this from The Lotus Cars Community Forum. According to the post it was applied with a mini touchup type paint roller. Three coats, 10 minutes between to dry and your set. It is meant for temporary protection and peels off in one piece when removed. The Star Shield rep and this poster said it's pretty clear, not too noticable from a distance. You have to call Star Shield as it's not on their web site. 866-no-chips or 626-813-0299 Please note I havn't used this product myself as of yet. Trusting my clear coat won't come off with the product! If you want the link to the Lotus site let me know and I can find it again and post it here.

griot's garage is another option if you go with a temp bra...

Spray-On Protection Bra
A Spray-On Protection Bra That Won't Fly Off, And Is Easy To Remove!
When I first tested this product, I was skeptical. By now you know that
I'm VERY finicky about my paint. So spraying a protective coating on the
front of a Porsche would be silly, right? And when I was done with my
road trip, having it peel up in one big sheet would be too easy to remove,
right? Hard to believe, but that's exactly what it did with minimal fuss. I
even applied the Protective Bra over the hood ornament! Finally an easy
way to protect any surface from rock chips, abrasion, sand pitting, bug
residue, etc. Other uses would include: inside an aluminum boat for a
non-slip surface, aluminum stair treads, tool boxes, instant drawer liner,
truck bed liners, car door thresholds (where your shoes scuff the paint),
and on the back of hatches and trunks so you don't scratch the bumper
or trunk lip. Water, oil, solvent and impact resistant. One can covers
approximately 12 sq. ft. $12.99 a can.
