Polishing, Wetsanding and Waxing Inside!
Polishing, Wetsanding and Waxing Inside!
I just realized I never posted this detail. It was done when I first picked up the car. I notice a lot of member have concern about headlights that are not correctable with Plast-X, here is another way to correct them.
I picked up the new toy. There were a few things I wanted to address, namely the headlights and front bumper.
Headlights process:
-Wetsand with 2000 unigrit sandpaper.
-Compound with Optimum Compound via LC 4" yellow pad.
-Polished with PlasX by hand

You really suck, its 13 degrees and my car is filthy. I've been wanting to put on my lower grilles, paint the horn support and take pictures. I would love to wash it but my hose is frozen. Maybe I'll swing by the local Bubble Up (24 hr DIY) and see if they are still open. It's probably a sheet of ice though if they are. . I'm about to dump a pot of warm water on my car. I hate winter.

Your neighborhood sure looks like the photos on your company's web page.

How long did it take you to do this? I think my lenses were about comparable when I picked my car up and I have a very similar process posted Here:. I used Diamond Cut Compound instead of sandpaper and didn't need to mask anything. It took about 20-30 minutes. Just thought I'd cross-post, this is an important issue with these cars.

To my mind, it appears on face value to be a testimonial from a happy end user of a product when in fact it is not, but rather from an employee of said company trying to drum up business. This is not exactly what the thread implies. Do you agree?
To put it another way it like the guy that posts on here and on numerous other car forums claiming to have "an extra HID xenon kit" for sale when in fact he's importing as many as he can unload.
