Default ****-retentive section

They should re-name this the **** Retentive Section. Detail Shop does not do it justice. I will be a life-long member.

I was thinking "Pizza's Obsession". Does anyone else here refuse to drive their XF if they KNOW it's going to rain, because it'll get the engine compartment messy? (Not to mention I'd have to wash the exterior again...) Mine hasn't been driven since Sunday and now it looks like it'll be off the road till at LEAST next Sunday - all due to the weather.

Can't say that this is an issue for me, if it rains and I have to go somewhere, I go. I am always told I have one of the cleanest cars people have seen or that I am the most **** person, but when you have to, scratch that, get to drive it everyday, you get a little less **** LOL

Well, if you look at my sigline, you'll see I'v put some MILES on since 7-6-09!

But we all enjoy our cars in our own way - I have other vehicles that I can drive - the XF is a reward I give myself at times. And having it look new is part of the fun.

I don't understand all of this detailing and all. I mean, I usually just go through an automated car wash on the first of every month, and it looks pretty good to me. I think it was waxed before I got it, so that should be fine. I mean, why wash it? It's my daily driver, so if I clean it, it'll just get dirty again in a few days. Plus it rains often enough to wash most of the dirt off.

Haha, how many of you had a stroke to that? I wash it once or twice a week, more often if I'm bored. Waxed a week ago. Everyone can relax now.

This smartass punk just drove away from my house with:
Floor jack (1)
Torque wrench w/socket for lugs (1)
12" Crescent wrench (1)
3/8" rachet and Torx males (4) for caliper removal
Jackstand (1)
Can of red Duplicolor caliper paint
Meguiars Gold Class wax (1)
TW Ice Spray Detailer (1)

Don't let him fool you-he's caught the bug. For sure. Uh-huh!

And if he doesn't bring my tools back-I'll talk to his professor. He's my next door neighbor!

I can't catch him-he's got an SRT!

It's OK. He's in good hands.

If he were old enough, I'd teach him the finer points of Scots whiskey.
