Finished with caliper paint!
And it looks pretty darn good!!
Sorry the rims are dirty, I didn't want to wash them before the paint completely dried. So I'll clean it tomorrow.

I thought about painting "maxcichon" on them, seeing as he was my sponsor in all this. Thanks man, it looks great!

My pleasure-I didn't feel a thing!
I spent the day cleaning the inside of the new/old commuter and replacing the 2 drive belts in the Mrs's Tahoe. And after I started it this morning, I noticed it was surging in idle/in gear, did a search and found that after 100K it kind of needs a throttle body scrub. So I disassembled that and did a CRC and toothbrush number on it.
Feels like a new vehicle. Just like it looks!
Did some roadster cruisin' this AM and met a guy at the new O'Reilly's who said that it was interesting that just a day or two before there was some kid in there with a blacked-out Crossfire and seemed very proud to speak of its Mercedes heritage.
If it was you, good goin'! He was very impressed with the car.
And he liked mine too.
I'm kind of surprised that no one has commented on the black-out on your car. The paint job on the door handles and windscreen trim are first rate. Looks OEM.
FP, take notice?

Yeah, that was me!
I was picking up a mitt to wash the car with, and after about the 15th time he said, "yeah, you want a nice soft mitt, that's an incredible looking car" I invited him out to look at it.
