Am I allowed to use this on engine rubber? (Hose's etc.)

Absolutely - I do it all the time. It's just a water based dressing, perfectly safe.

Mike I was have been using Meguiars gold class Trim Detailer on my weatherstripping and wipers and was wondering how this would differ or compare to the M40 or 303 class products.

Also, it looks like the last owner of my vehicle pushed in the weatherstripping around the top of the rear driver window in a few places. It looks like a finger indention to push the top part down and it looks really bad. Is there anything i could do to coax it out again with product, or perhaps manually, without damaging it?
