Default dust magnet

I've washed and waxed my CF and it looks great. The problem i'm having is that after driving 10 or 15 miles, it looks like dust is sticking to it. I have a California duster and after wiping it down I get the same results. It like a dust magnet.... Any ideas would be helpful.

Amen to that. However, the dust removal option engages well above the posted speed limits

Humidity (or the lack thereof) can play a big role in dust attraction. In drier climates you can develop a static charge just by wiping the wax off the car. Not terribly unlike rubbing a balloon on your hair and then sticking it to a wall. When it's really dry here in SoCal I can literally feel the charge as I wipe wax off the composite spoiler on my daily driver. That static charge in a dusty area can be a real pain. You might be able to knock it down a bit by using a quick detail spray on the car a few days in a row. You'll be wiping a wet product (the quick detailer) off the paint rather than a dry one (hazed wax).

Thanks Mike-in-Orange. Your explination sound like the correct one (as doing 145 didn't seem the reduce the dust). I have some spray detail and will git it a try.

Thanks.....
