Default Black wall cleaner???

I am asking what you folks use for a good black wall tire cleaner and shine? I use most of the time Meguiar’s stuff and the alloy wheel cleaner is a gem. But I would like to have a shine on the black walls but I have never seen good foam cleaner. Any suggestions?

KJ

Meguiar has good tire shine products as well. I prefer one that is not silicone based. The Super VRT from Adam's is very good, and what I use.

Is Adams products as good as Meguiar's? I bought a new Meguiars foam for shine tires and it works pretty good.

I use Wesley's Bleche White with a brush to clean the dirt and brown off the tiires, then use Zaino Z-16 to shine them up. The Z-16 soaks into the tire so it doesn't sling off, and it lasts quite a while. One coat turns them black, a second makes them shine.

I don't care for products that you spray on.

I use Wesley's (simple green also helps with this, just not to the same extent) to get the tires real clean before I apply any type of shine as it cleans all the grease and such off the tires and allows the shinny stuff to stick on and last longer. However, don't use Wesley's every time you wash your car (I use it max once a month and, I drive about 1,500 miles a month) as it will tend to dry the rubber a bit if you don't apply a shine afterward.

I agree, but if you have the spray kind, I just spray it on to a cloth and wipe it on. Works great, no overspray issues, no drips and you can control the application.
