Thumbs up Tough Paint...

Thank Somebody!!
Thought I'd done my baby some harm...backed into a parking lot pole at the eatery last night.
Looked horrible there, didn't want to look too close...or bother it any worse.
After cursory examination today, whew, not as bad as it looked.
Here's how it looked before any work...

I thought the clear coat had scuffed here...

But as I said in the opening, Thank Somebody! for our tough paint...
After a few minutes with the compounds and polishes, all that remains are the two circled areas...

Still though, felt like such a nube, D'OH!

Terry I have a Porter Cable orbital buffer you can use. Let me know if you want it.

Thanks Joe! I may take you up on that someday....
The two areas I circled are actual missing paint, the top spot is a small puncture into the paint, and the lower spots are chips down to the black under base. Time for some touch up paint, just not by me...

Terry, I have used Dr. Color Chip on the front of my graphite coupe. It is easy and matches really well. Not a perfect fix, but without it my car would look terrible all across the front end. The code for graphite is "ZDR".
