Yesterday, while detailing my interior (black and cedar), I noticed that the passenger's door panel armrest seem to have a spot where a clear top coat was rubbing off, it looked like peeling skin off when you get a sunburn. Can this be covered under warrantee? I'll post some pics of the interior later.

i have the same thing on my steering wheel, but its from everyday use.

 

I have about 16,000 miles on the car.

Responding to Dank: nobody ever sits in the passenger seat! And if they do, they don't lean on the part of the armrest that is damaged! It is really weird.
