i have finally defined an enclosure envelope that uses the OE bench seat/bed and has 3 horizontal sealed hatches for access
notice how little the engines central hatch protrudes into the seat cushion..heh

the H frames are in for the engine lids and the bedseat support--it's beginning to vanish!! the 1x1 tubing is a tribute to my old burro dune buggy with the corvair in it.

One thing I don't understand... are those the throttle bodies (air intake) up against the frame at the rear of the engine?

the beamer brake conversion jig is 60% done

I just realized that I totally stole this thread that originally asked if anyone knew anything about the 3.5L.

thanks man-- I just changed my signature so that I dont get addressed as a rabbit anymore my name is todd and I'm in carlsbad, ca. north of san diego. that square area that I cut off was the strut mount. I cut the interface plate i cut off the vw arm and it will help fill the gaps so the torque load can act the same way it did before.

Thumbs up Re: Chrysler 3.5 V6 motor

This is definately a car that is true to the spirit of hot-rodding yet environmentally conscious. Awesome job

That van would be perfect for snow boarding/skiing trips, or dirt bike/road race setup with a trailer. I'm digging it!
