the right arm is off the van and I have started cutting it and removing the drum hub. its greasy and wax coated, so I may take it to school tomorrow and put it in the autowash. this project is showing me what i'm made of--and it feels like mush right now. I am addicted to results, and there are too many open items working -- I just put the van on stands for the suspension fit and the fuel tank work, along with the wire routing.

the autowash is just great--6 pressure heads and a rotating cage. only a bit of wax inside remains. Ive been detained with studying for my mid term in auto electronix--- I can give it hell again after school tomorrow--
I was scared to death that I was dropping my hands with this project, but I'm just curious as to how she will drive--I just have to buy some more patience

halfway done with the rear brakes, gents

and it's installed, although it's hard to believe that this nasty hub

is now this

and the drive hubs are in place as well, so it will be a length of halfshaft game now...

the shocks will be replaced with bilstein monotube HDs

The dash mod resumes--I need to install the LHS column, brake switch, range selector and lockout and the cluster, so the LHS dash may work in there.

I took the pad cap off the vw dash and rehung it with 2 screws for the prefit. the steer shaft needs shortening at the floor enough to include the chrysler u joint. I may just cut the lid off and add around it.

the trimming has begun--the column aligns up nicely with minor adjustments

and the cluster [LHS] sits aft too far into the wheel area
