Bye-Bye To Resonator Today
I have an appointment today to have the resonator removed from my SRT 6 and replaced with a custom built stainless steel "Y" pipe. I was hoping to have the GTECH meter that I've been trying to order by now to see if it will make any difference in HP, TQ or 0 to 60. The guy at the exhaust shop gave me an estimate of $35 to $40 till I told him I wanted 304 SS, then he said " well that will be a little more, the SS pipe is expensive". He's not looked at the car yet I hope he can do the job, one thing nice I guess, he said if he couldn't do a real good job on it he wouldn't do it at all.
If your exhaust guy can't do it right away, if you want to pay for shipping I can loan you my gtech. I will be out for surgery for a bit as of the 13th, so obviously I won't be using my gtech. Let me know.

its good... and his claimed price was also good, but for that price i bet he was talking about an aluminum y-pipe... make sure that your exhaust tips are straight after the procedure and make sure there are no leaks either... this is done by starting the car and letting some gases run through... while the car is on the stand...
My Pleasure, we are all anxious for anything and everything that can be had out of these cars.
Surgery, ugh, my 4th hernia repair on the same side, and no compensation from the failed patches. ARGH. but oh well, it was because of my hernia that I sold the harley and got my crossfire so I guess I should say thank you? lol. On a side note, did we ever get any resolution to the fuel injector thread?

I'll try to post up some pic's when I get home from work tonight. The guy done a great job, at an idle it don't sound any different, but going down the road it is noticeably louder and at around 3,500 the butt dyno thinks it's got a little more juice.

I ordered my parts through Burns and the local muffler/race fab shop quoted $60 for the install.
Thanks for your posts on some great mods!

Just cruising around playing a little I really didn't feel any difference in power, but when I got out on the road home I got behind a 10 wheeler grain truck leaking corn (ha, imagine that in Indiana this time of the year) and a car between us. We finally came to a short passing zone and I nailed it, man my car took off like a rocket, better than I think it ever had. Maybe I was just imagining it, but I think it gave it a few more ponies.
At least this is what happened to me...

Very clean and Sano - Thanks for the pics.
I hope mine comes out looking so good. He did a very nice job and with leftover parts, saved you some $$$.
